Lighthouse Weekly Update – 12th September 2026…

Good day, brothers and sisters in Christ and fellow citizens,

What happens to a community when the human beings within it are publicly reduced to labels, allegations and characters in somebody else’s story?

Behind every headline are real lives. There are families trying to remain connected, friends deciding whether it is safe to stay, children absorbing what is said about those they love, and human beings attempting to work, worship, heal and build a future while carrying an identity imposed upon them by strangers.

This is not theoretical for us at Lighthouse Global. We have watched brothers and sisters suffer while a maliciously false public record entered their relationships, livelihoods and futures. We have also watched them continue to pray, serve, learn and stand together in Christ.

That experience has left us with a choice: surrender our lives to falsehood, or protect life through truth and constructive love.

We have chosen life.

When Life Destruction Becomes Personal

Institutional harm can sound remote when described through policies, editorial processes or legal categories. Its reality is intensely personal.

Imagine waking to discover that people who have never met you believe they know your character. Your ordinary messages are read through suspicion. Friends become cautious. Employers and clients fear association. Attempts to explain are treated as defensiveness, and silence is treated as guilt. Your family is pulled into a judgement they had no part in creating.

Then imagine bringing evidence capable of correcting that identity to the institution responsible—and finding that no effective route exists for the truth to reach the audience that received the original story.

What would you do?

Would you disappear, abandon your work and ask those you love to accept that nothing can be changed? Or would you remain together, preserve the evidence and keep seeking truth through lawful and peaceful means?

Public Interest Must Protect Human Beings

This week we launched Lighthouse Global: In the Public Interest? to examine how extraordinary power is exercised in the name of the public.

What interests an audience is not necessarily in our genuine human interest. Scandal can attract attention while leaving us less informed. A dramatic story can create certainty while excluding the evidence needed for a fair judgement. A trusted institution can speak about protecting the public while treating the targeted person and their family as disposable collateral.

But the person accused is also part of the public. Their children, parents, colleagues, clients, church and community are part of it too.

Serious wrongdoing must be confronted and vulnerable people protected. Yet genuine protection requires truth. Public-interest action must be necessary, proportionate and answerable. It must provide meaningful reply and an effective correction when material error is shown.

These safeguards are not technicalities. They protect human beings from being destroyed by an accusation that gained institutional reach before the complete evidence was heard.

A Community Must Learn How to Trust

Part One of the series asked whom we trust and why.

Community cannot be built through blind loyalty. Nor can it survive permanent suspicion. Healthy fellowship requires disciplined trust: confidence that grows through truthfulness, character, competence, transparency, repentance and demonstrated care for what has been entrusted to us.

That standard begins with each of us. What do we do when evidence contradicts what we wanted to believe? Can we acknowledge error without protecting our image? Do we help one another become more responsible beneath God, or make others dependent upon our approval?

Lighthouse Global does not ask to be exempt from those questions. Christian identity increases our responsibility to face truth, repent where we are wrong and repair genuine harm. The same standard we apply to media, institutions and accusers must govern us.

Only God is completely trustworthy. Human leaders, organisations and communities must remain accountable beneath His sovereignty.

What Happens When Trust Is Weaponised

Part Two asked what happens when trusted institutions gain the practical power to define another human being publicly.

Life destruction rarely results from one action alone. One person makes an allegation. Another selects it for publication. Others frame, approve and distribute it. Employers, regulators, friends and strangers respond to the authority of the published account. Each participant may feel responsible only for a small part, but the affected person lives beneath the combined weight.

This process can isolate a person precisely when faithful fellowship is most needed. Fear teaches friends to step back. Repetition makes an allegation feel established. People assume somebody else has examined the evidence. Silence becomes the safest social choice.

A truthful community must resist that pattern. We must listen before judging, examine before repeating and refuse to abandon a human being merely because doing so protects our comfort or reputation. This does not mean shielding genuine wrongdoing. Constructive love exposes what is true, protects those at risk and preserves a responsible route to repentance, correction and restoration.

The Choice Before Lighthouse Global

The BBC created a materially false public identity around Lighthouse Global and has not provided a meaningful route to examine and correct it. The consequences have entered real lives.

We therefore face two choices:

1. Surrender the lives God has given us.

   Accept the imposed identity, withdraw from meaningful work and allow falsehood to determine our relationships and future.

2. Stand together in Christ.

   Preserve and present the evidence, test every claim, continue seeking meaningful reply and campaign legally and peacefully until a truthful new start becomes possible.

We have chosen to stand—not triumphantly or cheaply, but faithfully. Standing has cost this community enormously. Yet abandoning one another to falsehood would allow fear and institutional power to determine whose life remains worth protecting.

The Anti-Life-Destruction Campaign

The Lighthouse Anti-Life-Destruction Campaign exists to expose, oppose and stop the process through which falsehoods, exclusions and accumulated power destroy names, families, livelihoods, relationships, freedom, opportunity and future possibility.

The BBC’s campaign against Lighthouse Global is the immediate and principal case. We hold extensive evidence and will show what was published, what was known, what was omitted, which opportunities to answer were granted or denied, what happened after notice and how human beings have carried the consequences.

We do not ask readers simply to believe us. Look with us. Test the evidence. Ask who was heard, who was excluded and why effective correction has remained unavailable.

The campaign will include personal and collective open letters from across Lighthouse Global. These letters matter because public narratives leave empty spaces between accusation and human reality. The letters will bring the affected human beings back into view, connect their experience to specific evidence and keep open a responsible path for answer and correction.

Constructive Love Is How We Stand

We will not answer life destruction by reproducing it against others. Our purpose is not revenge or humiliation.

Constructive love tells the truth, confronts wrongdoing and protects the vulnerable. It seeks consequence where consequence is necessary, but it also seeks repentance, restoration and a truthful new beginning. Loving our enemies does not mean describing destructive conduct as harmless. It means refusing to surrender their God-given possibility of facing truth and changing.

This is larger than Lighthouse Global. Any family, church, workplace or community can face a moment when fear encourages everyone to abandon the targeted person before the evidence is known. If we learn to accept that machinery when it harms somebody else, we help prepare it for use against us and those we love.

A community in Christ must become a place where truth is faced, error is corrected, suffering is not hidden and nobody’s life is reduced to a public label.
