Lighthouse Weekly Update – Truthful Love, Richard Thomas’ £25,000 Blackmail and the Battle for Human Potential

Good day, fellow citizens and brothers and sisters in Christ,
This week has brought three urgent questions into sharp focus:
What does it mean to love as Christ commands—not through passive feeling or appeasement, but through truthful, constructive action towards even those who persecute us?
What does Richard Thomas’ attempted £25,000 blackmail of Lighthouse Global reveal about the false public record manufactured by the Daily Mail and reinforced by the BBC?
Why are citizens denied a proper education in their God-given value, endowments and human potential?
These are not isolated questions. They expose one connected struggle: the battle to love in truth, confront falsehood, correct a falsified public record and recover the God-given capacities on which responsible, mature and creative human life depends.
God’s love is neither weak nor sentimental. It is agape—truthful, self-sacrificing and constructive love expressed through purposeful action. Its greatest test is not how we respond to praise, agreement or affection. It is how we confront those who persecute us: exposing wrongdoing without hatred, refusing to surrender the truth and continuing to pray for repentance, redemption and restoration.
Constructive love does not excuse abuse or protect a lie from scrutiny. It seeks what is genuinely good, even when that requires direct confrontation, moral clarity and accountability. To remain silent while citizens are deceived would not be loving. It would leave both the deceived and the deceiver trapped within the destructive consequences of falsehood.
This week we also examined four human endowments that institutional education routinely neglects: self-awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These are not abstract ideals or optional extras. They are essential capacities through which we understand ourselves, discern right from wrong, choose responsibly, create meaningfully and fulfil our God-given potential.
When these endowments are weakened, citizens become more fearful, dependent and vulnerable to manipulation. They are trained to comply rather than think, to react rather than reflect and to surrender responsibility rather than exercise it. But when these capacities are developed under God and in Christ, human beings become far harder to deceive, control, exploit or silence.
The war on human potential must therefore be recognised for what it is: an assault on the inner resources required for conscience, moral courage, mature responsibility and meaningful freedom. An informed, self-aware and spiritually grounded citizen can question propaganda, resist coercion and act according to truth. A dependent citizen, cut off from these capacities, becomes far easier for powerful institutions to manage.
The documented record concerning fake whistleblower Richard Thomas exposes this same battle between truth and manufactured dependence. The fully evidenced reality cuts directly through the Daily Mail’s public smear. It is not the story sold to the public by the Daily Mail, nor the false narrative later reinforced by the BBC.
The evidence surrounding the £25,000 refund offer—and the attempt to use that offer against Lighthouse—reveals the gulf between what happened and what powerful media institutions wanted citizens to believe. A compassionate offer was distorted into a weapon. Essential evidence and context were disregarded so that a predetermined public narrative could be protected.
This is why truthful love cannot ignore the public record. Falsehood must be confronted. Evidence must be brought into the light. Those responsible must be held accountable—not from vengeance, but because constructive love refuses to abandon citizens inside an engineered lie or leave destructive conduct unchallenged.
To love our enemies is not to cooperate with their falsehoods. It is to oppose wrongdoing without becoming consumed by hatred; to defend the truth without surrendering our humanity; and to seek repentance while protecting others from further harm. This is the difficult, costly and necessary love Christ calls us to practise.

Thank you for sharing this article. The reality is that we cannot do anything in life without the Love of God, and to use that love we receive so we can love ourselves and love others as ourselves. Can you love a person who has abused you? Can you love a person who has persecuted and hated you so much that they set out to destroy you? The answer is yes; you only have to look at Christ. Even on the cross, as He was dying, He asked His Father to forgive those who persecuted Him and sentenced Him to death. I pray for those who are persecuting Lighthouse because they are also persecuting God...
If you ask any true Christian they will tell you the test of loving our enemy is one of the hardest tests of all. It’s also in the pursuit of doing that though that we come to know and get closer to Christ in that process. That’s generally why the more people attack a genuine Christian, the stronger they will see that Christian become in their spirit and character because they are trying their best to answer that call of loving those who hate, betray and attack them. It’s what people like Mr Thomas and the BBC and the Establishment in general are finding out and experiencing for themselves in their attacks on Paul and Lighthouse.
It’s been a really powerful week, with some deeply important lessons. The establishment must be held to account for how it has damaged and limited so many through media and the likes of the education system. It is no wonder that the consequence of such a Satanic system are people who would lie, steal and destroy those who work in the name of the Lord. Thank you Paul, Chris and Shaun for all you are doing to bring these updates every day despite all you are enduring.
Every week through these updates I receive such an education on the reality of the world. To see the anger in some of the predatory trolls such as Mr Thomas, it shows the desperate state of the world.
