24th October 2026 — Lighthouse Weekly Update — Standing Together for Truth and Reconciliation
Lighthouse Weekly — 24th October 2026…
Good day, brothers and sisters in Christ, fellow citizens,
Standing together in truth means refusing to abandon those harmed by falsehood. This week, we have returned to a clear responsibility: face the evidence, correct the false public record and act to repair the damage done. An institution’s reputation cannot take the place of that work.
1. Truth Must Lead to Action
As a major project takes shape at Lighthouse Global, we have returned to open letters whose challenges remain central to our work in addressing those who have sought to destroy us and others over the last five years.
Paul S. Waugh’s letter to President Donald J. Trump calls for citizens to unite against institutional tyranny, giving a voice and a means of action to those left powerless. The purpose reaches beyond us and our case at Lighthouse Global: we, as citizens individually and collectively, must be able to challenge powerful institutions without being silenced by them.
For us as a community, that means more than agreeing that truth matters. It means reading carefully, refusing to pass on falsehoods, and supporting one another when speaking truth carries a cost. We cannot repair the harm of isolation by leaving one another to face it alone.
2. Reconciliation Requires Truth and Repair
The open letters to Catrin Nye, Ed Campbell and Tim Davie bring the BBC back to the central issue: correcting the false public record — not merely offering airtime. An interview cannot replace correction. Nor does putting a source on television make that source truthful. Evidence must be faced, sources scrutinised and those whose lives are affected given a meaningful opportunity to answer.
Paul’s invitation to Catrin Nye captures the purpose:
“Let us fight for truth together: two opponents in combat where the sole winner is truth.”
This invitation came with an outright condemnation of any violence or harm towards Catrin Nye and her family. We seek truth and reconciliation, not retaliation. The death threats and abuse directed at us at Lighthouse following A Very British Cult must not be ignored either. The lives affected matter more than protecting a programme’s reputation.
The open letter sent to Duncan Beach at the start of his tenure as CEO of the UK Insolvency Service places the same responsibility before him and the government agency he was appointed to lead: new leadership must do more than inherit an office. It must address the wrongs brought before it and ensure the institution serves the citizens it exists to protect, and who fund it as taxpayers.
Reconciliation requires more than words. It requires facing what happened with contrition, correcting what is false and acting to repair the damage done. This is how we move towards restored trust: not by pretending the harm never happened, but by taking responsibility for putting it right.
3. This Week’s Articles
Take time to read, revisit and share these pieces thoughtfully. Let them prompt prayer, honest conversation and constructive action:
“These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace;” — Zechariah 8:16 (ESV)
You are in our prayers. Please keep Paul and all of us in yours as we continue this work in Christ, standing together in truth and constructive love.
God bless,
Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash and Shaun Cooper

Thank you for sharing this week's update and the important reflections on the need to hold the establishment and their puppets to account for their actions.
Our pursuit of truth, reconciliation and restitution requires those responsible to admit their wrongdoing, accept accountability, and take appropriate steps to make amends. May we all be guided and strengthened by God's grace. Thank you.
