7th November 2026 — Lighthouse Weekly Update — Lighthouse’s 22 Years… a Community Still Standing Thanks to Christ
Lighthouse Weekly — 2nd–7th November 2026
Good day, brothers and sisters in Christ, fellow citizens,
Twenty-two years is a testimony to what God has done in us and among us. This week we gave thanks for the empirical research journey that led Lighthouse Associates to Christ. Speaking truthfully is not a departure from love; it is how love protects the people in front of us.
1. Twenty-Two Years Together on the Rock of Christ
“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” — Ephesians 4:15–16 (ESV)
Our journey began in November 2004 with questions about why we are so poorly equipped to realise our God-given human potential.
Years of Lighthouse Global’s empirical research, soul-searching and personal repentance led us to Christ. That journey provably began years before Catrin Nye’s propagandised hit piece, A Very British Cult; it was not a rebrand to escape media attacks masked as public criticism.
As we marked our 22nd anniversary, we expressed gratitude to God that this work continues on the rock of Christ despite the vicious attacks brought against us through the BBC-propagandised hit-and-run piece aired to millions across the globe.
True community is not held together by a name or a reputation. True community is held together by Christ, by repentance, and by the patient work of growing up together into the people God created us to be.
2. Speaking the Truth in Love: Abuse, Accountability and the Human Cost
We returned to the hateful, abusive and malicious anonymous posts recorded in our Predatory Troll Assault & False Accusation Register.
We continue to challenge the BBC, the Daily Mail and the Insolvency Service over the sheer lack of investigation into their fake whistleblower sources associated with the hate and smear campaign against Lighthouse.
Catrin Nye and the BBC must also answer for their toxic framing, manipulated recordings and a complete failure to provide a meaningful right of reply. The BBC must be held to the same standards of evidence, context and accountability that BBC Verify says it expects of others — standards it is currently failing to meet based on our evidence and firsthand experience.
Behind every omission and every manipulated recording are conversations we witnessed, people we know, lives we carry responsibility for, and damage that needs to be healed.
Our response to the BBC’s coverage of Shaun Cooper’s unjust arrest warrant points to the evidence rather than the weaponised narrative. The BBC must answer for its blatant efforts to abuse its reach with no regard for the truth and Shaun’s health. We continue to pray for his recovery and restoration in Christ, and we ask you to pray with us.
3. Read This Week’s Featured Articles
Take time to read and share these pieces thoughtfully. Let them prompt prayer, honest conversation and practical support for one another:
For the wider background, read A Statement by Paul S. Waugh on Why Lighthouse Global Was Attacked by the Establishment.
You are in our prayers. Please keep Paul and all of us in yours as we continue this work in Christ, growing together in faith, responsibility and constructive love.
God bless,
Paul S. Waugh, Chris Nash and Shaun Cooper
Given Paul’s longstanding ill health, these updates are generated by the team, drawing from Paul’s recent and earlier words and what we are working with here at Lighthouse. We ask you to keep him in your prayers as he builds strength and renews in our Lord.

Thank you for another week of important articles and for encouraging people to look more closely at the BBC, its history and its accountability. The issues and concerns that have emerged over the years are serious, and BBC Verify should be subject to the same standards of independence, transparency and scrutiny that it expects of others.
The Lighthouse journey has involved years of questioning, testing, deep internal reflection and confronting difficult challenges. Discovering our God-given potential and coming to Christ is a profound process of transformation, not something that can simply be labelled rebranding.
My thanks to everyone who continues to stand for truth, question what they are told and seek a deeper understanding.
God bless everyone searching for Truth.
We would never have survived the onslaught of attacks online, in the mainstream media and through weaponised government agencies were it not for Christ. We're increasingly seeing what happens to ideological enemies of the Anti-Christ Establishment Cult.
By God's grace the work of Lighthouse continues whilst we grow stronger in our faith.
What a week it has been! Happy 22nd birthday to Lighthouse, and enormous commendations to all who have contributed to this journey, especially Paul, whose commitment over more than 22 years is truly remarkable. It has been a real honour and privilege to contribute to this research and to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be human beings created in the image of God.
The contradiction between the BBC's portrayal of itself as an organisation committed to impartiality and verification, particularly through BBC Verify, and the categorical evidence of its own failures to meet those standards in A Very British Cult is staggering. It raises serious questions about accountability, integrity and the responsibility that comes with such influence.
To have the most important relationship we will ever have, with Christ, mocked and labelled as a re-brand, was one of the most repulsive parts of the attacks on us. This just shows the darkness and evil in the hearts of our attackers.
It is not a huge leap to see why they could unrepentantly collude with institutions to partake in prolonged life destruction in regards to Lighthouse…so small and shrivelled are their consciences. We still continue to pray that they find the peace of Christ through their repentance for their cheating and wrongdoing.
